Kory Wilson, BCIT’s Executive Director of Indigenous Initiatives & Partnerships, joins host Josh Kilner for the April 4th edition of For the Record.

Topics discussed include the continued use of offensive team names (Redskins, Indians) and the reinforcement of negative stereotypes that improper representation can cause.

Wilson is a member of the We Wai Kai Nation (Quadra Island) and is Musgamagw Tsawataineuk and Laich-Kwil-Tach. She is also a lawyer, with a degree from UBC.
