VCH issues warning over possible E. coli, listeria contamination
After conducting an inspection at Polonia Sausage House, Vancouver Coastal Health is warning customers that meat products purchased between August 1 and November 2, 2018 could be contaminated with E. coli, listeria and other bacteria.
The eight different meat products were sold at Polonia Sausage House locations in Vancouver and Surrey. Some of the products include chorizo sausage, Hungarian salami and Gypsy salami.
The retailer has stopped selling the products and no illnesses linked to the products have been reported so far. The complete list of products and photos can be found here.
