Justin Kulik, a student activist whose petition against food waste was recognized by the federal government.

In today’s For the Record, my guest is a student activist whose petition against food waste was recognized by the federal government.

Justin Kulik is here to talk about the movement he’s started, how it came to be, and what he wants grocery stores across Canada to do differently.

The 17-year-old has collected 173,000 signatures (as of October 23, 2018) and is looking to spread the word about his initiative. Kulik is breaking barriers, proving that change is possible for citizens of all ages.
